How to Fix Corrupted USB







How To FIX/Repair A Corrupted USB Flash Drive or SD Card 

Sometimes a wonderfully smart USB drive will become corrupt owing to invalid information within the Master Boot Record (MBR) or Partition Boot Record (PBR) or directory structure on the USB drive itself. Once this went on, and you then insert the USB drive into a USB port of your Windows laptop, Windows or a utility like RMPrepUSB might become unresponsive once accessing that device. If this happens there's NO ought to THROW THE USB turn back - you'll be able to FIX IT!



Full Method:
Go to "CMD" (Run as Administrator )
1.diskpart
2.list disk
3.select disk x (x being the usb)
4.clean
5.create partition primary
6.active
7.select partition 1
8.format fs=fat32 quick?

 (if your USB in NTFS,than fs=NTFS quick ok.if  your USB in fat32,than follow Step 8 ok)


Easy Method:
Go to "CMD" (Run as Administrator )

  1. diskpart
  2. list disk
  3. select disk x (x being the usb)
  4. clean
  5. create partition primary
  6. format fs=fat32 quick         
 (if your USB in NTFS,than fs=NTFS quick ok.if  your USB in fat32,than follow Step 8 ok)


Note:
       
Every one please just be careful not delete HDD Partition in this method 
 when you type listdisk 
only select usb disk
example:
if you have two Hard disk the last disk is usb flash drive (Show in Picture)






if you have one hard drive than select Disk 1 to clean it.(show see in image above)
  • Disk 0 is your Hard drive 
  • Disk 1 is USB or SD





if you have two hard drives than select Disk 2 to clean it.(above image)








  • Disk 0 is your Hard drive 
  • Disk 1 is also Hard drive 
  • and  last one is your USB stick  (Disk 2)       





  • TIPS:
         In GB Size this is your Hard disk and in MB Size this is your USB or Memory Card. (you check the above image to see who disk is GB and MB)
