When you install the IDM just click the patch file:
There are two different kinds of Patch files 32bit and 64bit if your Operating support
64bit than install 64bit patch file and if you OS supports only 32bit than installed
only 32bit patch file.

****if your OS 64bit you can install any of each patch but better performance is 64 bit****
